Doruk Öner

Asst. Prof. Dr. · Department of Computer Engineering

Doruk Öner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Bilkent University and the director of the NeuraVision Research Lab. He received his Ph.D. from EPFL, where he worked with Pascal Fua at the Computer Vision Laboratory on topology-aware deep learning for delineating curvilinear structures. His research centers on computer vision, deep learning, the use of topology in learning, and uncertainty estimation for trustworthy AI, with applications in medical imaging and remote sensing.
